About

Hear from our Founder

From an early age drugs and alcohol were an escape for me, as I grew older so did my alcohol and drug addiction. Having tried different ways of sobriety multiple times throughout my life, I always ended up taking a drink or doing drugs. This continued for years. I suffered from broken relationships, abandoned kids, financial hardships, and was in and out of institutions. I was completely alone and lost, hopeless, and broken. I was at my bottom. At that point I surrendered to a new plan that didn’t come from me. Day by day I started to heal spiritually and mentally. After a few years of change, a fire was lit inside of me to help others as I have been helped.

With God’s healing, the help from countless men and women, and the love and support of my family, this new plan in my life continues.

I have been so fortunate over the past 11 years that I have been able to work with a variety of individuals. From blue collar to white collar, to men and women who have been in and out of institutions, the youth to the broken on the street. I have and continue to learn so much.

Words can’t express the gratitude that’s in my heart and the peace that’s in my life today. If you are struggling, searching, or hurting you too can find what I’ve found.

Being sober for a few years now, I realize how important it is to have solid people around me. I am so grateful that I don’t live the way I used to. It’s because of spiritual change and following the direction of sober men that have allowed me the opportunity to help as I have been helped. I am passionate about the work that we get to do, and look forward to being a part of your new beginning.

Years living in and out of addiction, struggling to change and have a life that wasn’t connected to drugs, I wondered if it could ever happen for me…Well It Happened! With spiritual change in my thinking and attitude, the help of strong women, and the love of my beautiful family, I am able to live to help others.

Addiction ruled my life and the lives of those I care about for over a decade. I reached a bottom I never thought I would reach, nor did I think I could ever recover from. I was broken and had lost all hope. After stepping into recovery, I found a new way to live. My life today has purpose, meaning and freedom that I never could have imagined. Having known such a dark place for so long, my goal today is to bring light to those still struggling around me.

There are many obstacles in life we must face to grow, change and thrive. Instead of facing them I found myself turning to drugs and alcohol. This only created a much larger dilemma and made everything around me unmanageable. After losing jobs, relationships, opportunities and finally my sense of self,I felt totally powerless and decided to get help. Addiction was bigger than me. I was given a second chance and a sober community of women welcomed me with open arms. Through building a healthy relationship with my spiritual, mental and physical self I have been able to start to feel whole again. I am grateful to be able to walk this path with you as many did with me.
