Caregivers United provides top quality post-surgery care to the senior residents of Sarasota, Florida. It does not matter whether the needs are short term or long term; everyone’s path to recovery after surgery is different. We can help you heal from a simple knee replacement or open-heart surgery. Every client is treated like a member of the family.
We will address your physical and emotional needs after surgery because managing stress is essential for healing quickly and adequately. Caregivers United can help you with an array of tasks during recovery. Physical therapy, exercise, grocery shopping, prescription pick-ups, medication management, transportation to and from doctor’s appointments, housekeeping, preparing meals, and hygiene are some of the tasks we will take off your plate.
We lighten the load for your loved ones so that they can focus on emotionally supporting your recovery. Services are provided in private homes, nursing homes, hospitals, rehab centers, assisted living facilities, or wherever a patient wants to live. We come to you for the initial assessment to establish your needs.
Your caregiver will either be a certified nursing assistant or a certified home health aide. They pass must a level two background check, which is very thorough, and receive further in-home care training and education. Caregivers also carry their insurance. Your vital signs will be monitored regularly, and your medicine will be given on time.
If you would like to choose your own post-surgery caregiver, we can help you schedule to meet and interview potential caregivers until the right one is found. That caregiver will be placed as soon as you need it after the initial assessment and the full scope of your post-surgery care needs. A registered nurse will evaluate your referral within 48 hours of receipt. One of our nurses is usually available within a few hours. If your regular caregiver cannot show up for any reason, we will immediately send another one. Company founder Jordan Owens may even show up to care for you. That is how much we care about our clients and their families.
In most cases, long term care insurance is accepted. Make sure your long term care policy covers the care you need. If your policy does cover it, we will help you get reimbursement. We also accept Veterans Aid and Attendance benefits, Medicaid Waivers, and Workers Compensation. Private payments are used most of the time. If you are worried about being able to afford our post-surgery care services, contact us. The right home health care is a significant investment, and we want to help you make it possible.
The agreed-upon invoice will be sent to you weekly by mail or email after Caregivers United handles billing, payroll, and insurance. The invoice is due one week after receipt. We accept payments by check, e-check, money wiring, or credit cards. Your caregiver is paid each week. You will not pay the caregiver directly, and we will never charge any fee that is not on the invoice.
